In my doodle 4 google design, I started by mapping out my ideas and doing some research while giving each drawing a caption. Each of the drawings I did had to have some type of impact with the world and with my life. Some of these drawings where related to transportation because in our daily life we need transportation to move from place to. Such as a School Bus to go to school and a car to travel from place to place. Other drawings where related to technology such as phones, board screens, and robots which now in days they are becoming more realistic than before. I decided to do the 2 O’s as part of 2 staring eyes into some technological glasses that is reveling information into a screen in front of her (in the picture, it’s beside), but looking at my drawings I noted that robots in the future would look like humans so within the idea I created the rest of the body down and made it look like one part was human and the other like a robot by drawing some cables inside her body (which I have decided to named ME). The capital letter G looked like an Airstrip and decided to make it looked like a road where cars were taking flight in it. The cars and the school bus were part of my drawings that represented transportation in the future in which they can take flight and land and move around. Next I went with the letter e, this was one of the hardest things to come up with until I looked at my drawing of the board screen and noticed the phone could make the shape of an e. after that the only letter left was the lower case g and l, in which I had no idea what to do with until I thought it could be simple and since it was on the screen it could look like ME was making some kind of design with the letter g and with the letter l, it could contain the designs to put on the letter g. My message to the world is to be together and we can get far, maybe farther than any other time and if we could get all the things we want to triumph and become more into technologies and other stuff we need to succeed.
1. I think in the future there would be a lot of new technology from transportation to home kitchens, such as the stoves there would not be grills any longer there would be plain visible spots that works trough sunlight and the old traditions buttons will become touch screen on the sides of the stoves to mark time, the on/off buttons and the cooking/reheating like the microwaves we used today, but the microwaves won't be necessary any longer.
2. Today's way of communication is through touched upgraded cellular devices, I view the future method of communication as a plain, barely visible touched screens, that can act on the sound of your voice and touch of your finger print. 3. As well of the transportation it will also change from being on the road to flying in the air. The structure of the cars will be different since they will fly but will have variety from having 2 seats up to 6 or more seats in the car. While from us students the buses will change from the old, ratchet buses to the new good looking charter buses that will also have the ability to land on land where the destination is completed. 4. Today's equality is not as good as it should be expected nor the peace in the world. I think with this new technology the world's peace would not get any better because there would be a lot of competition with who makes it better, faster, who's the most creative, etc. I think the equality would change in the United States because those who have money would buy or not buy these products and also those who would need jobs would have some to make this technology possible. What is the Fun Theory? The Fun Theory for me is a way you can do the right thing, that you don't often do, into something that you do more often and more times with something driving/motivating you to do it. The Fun Theory is doing unwanted things in a fun and entertained way, like for example in the video below many people were using the escalator than the stairway, well they did the stairway into a piano (something really interesting and fun to do) that drove people to use the stairway more than the escalator. What Process would I redesign? I would design an arcade game to make students recycle unneeded paper or old paper. In order to do this I would need to make/create a system that can track the amount of paper in each pile/throw and calculate the points they get for recycling the paper. I honestly don't put paper to be recycle, most of time I throw it to the garbage. I believe doing this will help me and many other people, especially students, start recycling paper if we can make it fun and interesting to do.
In this video Phil Hansen is in a struggle to complete his dream of becoming an artist after he found out he had a permanent nerve damage that didn't let him make his art work "correctly". After going to a neurologist who just simply suggested him to "embrace the shake" he started to gain more confidence about the creation of his art. That same day he realize he could make art with his shaky hand and come up with art, even though it wasn't the type of creativity he wanted to see, he soon realize it was part of the struggle. After thinking of ways to bring his art up to a good creativity, he started to think of different ways he could make art without using his hands, coming up with many different ways to create art in very unique ways. After realizing that "embracing limitations can drive creativity" he started his career again as an artist again by going back to art school and getting a job. But as he was getting back to his "normal life" he found soon enough that thinking too much outside of the box was making him lose his creativity so in order for him to get back his creativity he had to start thinking inside the box once again. What he did next was that he started looking back to his "shaky hand" and came up with that maybe he needed to see some limitations within the art in order to create an amazing art. "What I thought to be the alternate limitation came out to be the alternate liberation," after doing his "Goodbye Art" projects he noticed that he was learning to let go, letting go outcomes, failure and imperfection. All of this learning and embracing his limitations got him through art, it also came to be helpful to him in his Life. With all of this story he learned to overcome whatever it crosses him to see the finished project in the way he wants it. At the end he says "maybe if we seize the limitations we have we can overcome any obstacle we have and confront it." We have to look for new ways to make art even if we can't we need to find ways to do art with other materials, get out of our comfort zone and make something new that will inspired others to do the same.
